Choosing your rug

Styles & materials

Every rug is hand-tufted in 100% wool with a dense 10–15 mm pile and a cotton backing: soft underfoot, hard-wearing and easy to live with.

Finding the right size

In a living room, aim for the front legs of your sofa and chairs to rest on the rug. Under a dining table, allow room to pull chairs out. See our size guide.

Caring for a handmade rug

Vacuum gently without a beater bar, rotate every few months for even wear, and use a rug pad. Some shedding in a new wool rug is natural. More in rug care.
